Today's pregnant belly cake serves quite a few more than the other ones that I've made. I didn't do a very good job with the lighting... cake was a light-medium shade of purple. Hope that they enjoy it!
Meet Blossom's friend, the long-eared bunny. I think she is also cute and was a lot quicker to make than Blossom! Note to self... less curl to ear next time and slightly shorter ears! Would be cute with some grass icing around her and some jelly beans! Off she goes... hippity hop to the Open House tomorrow!
I've waited a year to make this cake. I saw this cake made by Sharon Zambito in Louisiana. She is absolutely amazing and has been on a lot of the cake shows on tv. This is today's therapy session.... took a LONG time to make. Sharon named it "Blossom Bunny" and I think that is appropriate! Blossom will be greeting people at my Open House this Saturday! My contribution to our dinner with friends this evening. Vanilla almond pound cake, with strawberries and a sprinkling of powdered sugar... should be yummy!
