"Brock's Cake"

One of my most popular cakes is "Brock's cake".  When I receive a call referencing it I know exactly which cake the caller is talking about.  Actually, I think it should be called "CJ's" cake since I believe that was the original one.  Regardless, the past 2 weeks I have had several request for "Brock's cake". 

Favorite Cake Classes

I will be heading back down to the Atlanta area for 3 days of sugar clases in a few weeks.  I always have a great time down there and learn so many new things.  This cake was from one of my favorite classes... I have had the opportunity to re-create the shoe and purse many times.  This has been a popular class taught by Nicholas Lodge at his Internation Sugar Art Collection.

What will it Bee?

Some cakes just make you smile... this one made me smile.  It was for a baby shower luncheon at a local dentist office.  As you can see, the mom-to-be does not know if it will Bee a girl or Bee a boy!

Dinosaur Birthday

I've made some fun children's cakes this past summer.  This cake was a last minute request for a dinosaur birthday cake.  The birthday boy really liked it!  The following weekend I made a cake for his brother... will find that photo and post it also.  Be sure to check out the cake on my facebook page!
